Step 1: Download the app

To get started, download the Instagram app on the App Store for iOS devices, on PlayStore for Android devices, and Windows Phone Store for Windows devices.

Step 2: Sign up

After downloading and installing the app on your device, the next step is to open it and sign up.

Fill in your details, input your username, password, name, email and phone number.

We recommend using your business name as username and name.

Step 3: Switch to a business account

Once done with the registration and logged in, then follow the steps:

1. Go to your profile and tap in the upper right corner. ; 2. Tap Settings. ; 3. Tap Account. ; 4. Tap Switch to Professional Account. ; 5. Tap Continue. ; 6. Set up your business profile (choose business type, link your Instagram page to a Facebook page). ; 7. Review your business’s contact information (email, phone number, and address). ; 8. Tap done.

In conclusion

Business (Professional) Instagram account will give you more call-to-action buttons and space to provide contact details and your business address, which will ultimately increase your customers’ ability to get in touch. You will now be able to connect your Facebook Page to your Instagram account and you’ll only be able to share your Instagram posts to Facebook through that Page.
